FOUNTAIN OF LIFE ; PART 1

What is a Fountain ? Fountain means a natural source of water, a spring of water or it can be an artificial source of water, usually for ornamental or beautification of a place or home.

But the Fountain am referring to, is not the natural or artificial kind of Fountain rather it's a spiritual Fountain which never runs dry.

Revelation 22:1-2: (NKJV)

[1]And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

[2]In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

This spiritual Fountain is the source where spiritual gifts flows from, spiritual gift like Faith, Word of Wisdom, Knowledge, Healing gift, Working of Miracles, Prophecy, Discerning of Spirit, Speaking of Tongues ;

1 Corinthians 12:7-11: (NKJV)

[7]But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:

[8]for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,

[9]to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,

[10]to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

[11]But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

However, this Spiritual Fountain also serves as a Fountain of Life which is a super source of a believers Lifestream. As long as the believer stays connected to this Fountain, his/her spiritual Life and gifts including the fruits of the spirit, continues to flow out richly like a river of living water.

John 7:38-39: (NKJV)

[38]He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

[39]But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

According to this scripture, Jesus is saying to the people listening to him then and to us now that when we believe and accept to follow him that a Spiritual gift awaits us, a special gift from the Father called the Holy Ghost.

In other words, God has a great plan of fellowshiping with His children and of course that can't happen except the Holy Spirit comes upon us to enable us connect with him in the Spirit, in order to give him the exact worship we ought to. Remember his word says in John 4:24: (KJV)

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in Truth. We can't worship in flesh it's totally unacceptable to Him. Which is the reason Jesus came to earth to reconnect us back to the Father so we can fellowship together with Him in Spirit and in truth.

John 4:14 : (NKJV)

[14]but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Now, you may be asking who is this Great Spiritual Fountain, who gives life to those who are connected to Him. This Spiritual Fountain, is no other person but JESUS CHRIST, the Son Of God.

The believer who is connected to this Fountain has no reason to lose HOPE, FAITH or get tired of LIFE, to the extent of wanting to commit suicide, like most people do these days.

This Great Spiritual Fountain is the source of all Physical/Natural gifts or talents like singing, writing, dancing, numericise, athletics etc these are examples of physical/Natural gifts. Ones a person who naturally possesses any or more of these natural gifts mentioned above, gets connected to Jesus Christ , our Great Spiritual Fountain, this person's Natural talent or gifts metamorphose into a greater gift as this gifts continues to flow out from the gifted individual like a river of water which never runs dry. For instance, a WRITER, who is consistently connected to this Fountain will never have a "WRITERS BLOCK". A Medical Doctor Who is connected to this Fountain of life will continue to be inspired greatly to keep practicing his/her profession passionately and with compassion. Our Spiritual Fountain, Jesus Christ , is AN INSPIRATOR to those who believe and accept to follow Him constantly or consistently with passion.

Jesus never stops to inspire those who come to learn at His feet and consistently seek him.

Matthew 7:7-11: (NKJV)

[7]“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

[8]For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

[9]Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

[10]Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?

[11]If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

I encourage us to ask our Father in Heaven to help us connect to Jesus Our Fountain of Life consistently, that is, for those who haven't connected yet. And for those who have already believed and is following Jesus, I encourage us to keep seeking and asking the Father to Continue to help us remain connected to Jesus Christ, Our Fountain of life, so we don't, for any reason lose our salvation or Faith in Him.
