Your Heart ..Your Treasure -1

A heart scientifically means a muscular organ that pumps blood through the body. Generally speaking, a heart is a vital part of the body which holds the seat of emotions. A heart symbolises Love and Life. The Heart harbours Love or Hate which is a strong determinant of a good or bad person . Our hearts holds different kinds of emotions, the good and the bad emotions or a positive and a negative emotions. We have two types of hearts, they are :

1) A Good Or Positive Heart : Someone with a good heart thinks good thoughts, makes good decisions that tends to affect him and others positively . They make selfless choices for the betterment of others even when it doesn't favor them. They bounce back stronger and better after a difficult life situation. They forgive easily, and can't hold grudges or keep malice.

2) A Bad or Negative Heart : This is opposite of the good heart. Someone with a bad heart are first selfish, filled with hate for anything or anyone that displeases them. Makes choices base on their selfish sentiments. They are judgemental, malicious and unforgiven. They become worse after experiencing a bad situation.

However, a heart is a storage place where valuable things are kept for safety by the owner. The heart is an important part of every living thing, both humans and nonhuman. It determines the living and the dead. Things that are precious to man are saved in the heart, which explains why people tend to protect anything or anyone they value even with their life because those people or things have been stored or saved in their safety place called HEART.

On the other hand, Treasure also means anything or anyone that is greatly valued. Notwithstanding, anyone or anything that is greatly valued is seen as a Treasure. People value money, Jewelry, precious stones, knowledge, a spouse, or a child etc as these items become a Treasure to them. Let me ask, When you have a Treasure, what do you do? You protect it from thieves who would want to steal it from you, right? I won't believe you if you tell me, you have a Treasure that is lying around your house unprotected. Treasures are kept in a Chest and hidden deep down in the earth . Some people go as far as to protect it with magic,then create a clue that would lead only the Chosen One to it, just like in the movies, funny right? .

On a more serious note, Treasures are kept in a bank, in a chest and hidden in the deepest part of the earth, where no thieves can break in and steal it.

To drive home my point, "YOUR HEART... YOUR TREASURE", what does it mean?you may ask, just relax and keep reading, I will tell you. Like I said before, your hearts are where valuable items in your life are kept for safety. You value what you love and you also protect what you love or whom you love. If anything happens to your heart, all those valuable people or things would be gone and destroyed forever. Which means your heart is your treasure. Your heart is where your treasurable artifacts and people are kept for safety. Your heart contains all the things and people you value, which makes it a vital part of you. Why do people cry or feel pain when they lose a loved one? because they've lost a Treasure they'll never find again, which hurts, right? When people wants to impress you, they use what you love to win your heart to them. When the same people wants to hurt you they also use someone or something you love to bring you down, reason we need to be careful in choosing the kind of people to Love or Treasure because they can make or destroy you.

More so, the things we value or the kind of people we love determines if we have a good or a bad heart or if we are good or a bad person. If you value honesty, positivity, love, peace, joy, respect, trust, courage, kindness, mercy etc, it means you are a good person with a good heart and will naturally love and do good to people that come across you. While the person with a bad heart will value money, sex, revenge, rich connections, hard drugs, alcohol, lies, deceit, pride, bribe, etc. Your values projects in your attitude, character and choices . I call it A.C.C for short.

Our kind of heart, determines if we will make good choices when faced with brutal challenges or hard times. Now we've understood the topic, let me ask you this vital question, If your heart is your Treasure, how do you protect it from thieves and moth that would want to steal and destroy the valuable things and people saved in it?
