Your Heart.. Your Treasure -2

On my previous blog, I asked a vital question which I promised to answer for those who may not know the answer. The question is thus quoted: "If Your Heart is your Treasure, how would you protect it from thieves who may want to steal the valuable things stored in it?

If You dont protect your heart, the place where you saved up your Love, Peace, Courage, Kindness, Positive Energy, Goodness, Respect etc, the bad people and bad situations of this world would steal them away from you, leaving you empty and broken, that's the truth.

If you can answer the question I asked earlier correctly, then your Heart is safe. But if you're still wondering or not sure what the answer is, then I will tell you.

According to Matthew 6:19-21; (NKJV) it says:

[19]“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;

[20]but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

[21]For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Here, this scripture explains that our Treasure is where our Heart lies. Meaning, that earth is not the rightful place to save up Treasures stored in your heart.

The Love of God is the only thing that can protect our Heart from doing evil. We have the good and the bad Hearts as I explained in my previous post .

In the beginning, God created Adam with just one Heart, which was A good Heart, likewise Eve, until they ate of the tree, The Tree of Good and Evil, the Tree God warned them not to eat from. That Tree automatically split their one Heart into Two. Which is why we have Two Hearts and the power of choice was birthed into the world till today. Because with Two hearts, you have to choose which one you prefer or want. And of course Sin was also introduced into the world by that same act leaving us with the choice to Disobey or Obey God's commands.

Every human being is first introduced into the world as a child (Innocence), until they start growing up. As they start growing up, stage by stage, their true identity begin to show forth. Then as life begins to get to them, they are compelled to use their power of choice which if it's bad, they child who is now a grown man or woman begin to suffer for their terrible Choices. If these situations are not arrested on time, you'll find this once sweet good child, becoming a bad soul or a bad person with a bad Heart. What happened?

The child's heart was not protected at all or enough by his parents or Guardian as a Child. For the record, if you can't protect your heart from evil as an adult, you can't help your child or loved ones protect theirs.

So, how to protect your Heart from thieves or moth who may want to steal and destroy the Treasures in them, is by LOVING GOD first, why?

God is the only one who can protect your heart, because HE is your creator and understands your heart and everything saved inside of it better than you or anyone who may want to claim they know you better than you know yourself. And HE can only do that when you have given him the rightful seat in your Heart.

Luke 10:27(NKJV) says:

[27]So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ” This scripture explains how we should Love God. Until you Love God completely, it will be difficult for HIM to protect your heart from doing evil, because you are still holding the Power of Choice and until you surrender that power of choice to HIM with Love through the help and blood of Jesus, you will not be able to follow and obey HIM totally.

It's easy to Obey God and follow HIS ways if you Love HIM.

When you Love Someone truly, you easily Obey them as you give them your Best without doubt, right?

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) says:

[33]But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. This scripture tells us to put God first by seeking his Kingdom and his righteousness. This is a command, Jesus was revealing to us our Father's mind, and showing us the secret to our Father's Heart. Jesus our brother is telling us that the only way to get God's attention is to prioritize HIM First before anything else.

Honestly, if you don't Love God you can't seek HIS Kingdom or even his Righteousness (Holiness) because they won't meen anything to you.

The Power of Love can't be underestimated. God knows that, only by Loving HIM truly that we can serve, worship and obey HIM. Which is why HE clearly states in this scripture Luke 10:27, that we should Love HIM with "ALL", ( HE didn't say some or part but HE said "ALL") our Heart, Our Soul, Our Strength, and Our Mind.... Because that's the only way we can put HIM First in our Journey in this world HE created.

However, if God is stored in your Heart, nothing evil can come into it; Your Heart is Safe. Even when you go through dangerous life challenges that are capable of stealing your good Heart, The Almighty God turns that situation around for your good.

Romans 8:31(NKJV) says:

[31]What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

If God be for us nothing or any one created by HIM can hurt us, that's an Assurance of our safety, can't you see?

There's a saying that goes "What doesn't kill us, makes us Stronger "... Which is true for those whose Hearts has been given to God our Father for Safety.

There are three main Characters in the Bible that inspired me greatly, they gave their hearts to God for Safety, and they are Joseph, David, and Jesus Christ. These three respectively went through betrayal and injustice but didn't seek for revenge, rather they forgave; Joseph forgave his brothers, David forgave Saul as he refused to kill him twice he had the chance, while Jesus Christ forgave his persecutors and crucifiers.

Indeed, this is the reason why they came out from their bad situations, stronger and better.

In conclusion, what am i saying? I'm saying that Your Heart is Your Treasure. Don't play around with it, or treat it as rubbish if not, scavengers and thieves of this wicked world will steal and shread to pieces all the precious and valuable things saved in it.

The only way to protect and preserve it ,is to give Your Heart to God for Safety by Loving HIM First with ALL your Heart, ALL your Soul, ALL Your Strength and ALL your Mind.
